Royal Run 2023

The invent is held every year at Whitsun in five towns all over Denmark. In each town a menber of the family participate in the race- Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary or their eldest sun Prince Christian.

In Copenhagen the finish line was on the square of the royal palace Amalienborg.

Frederik ran this year 1 mile in Aabenraa, 5 km. in Herning and 10 km in Copenhagen.

I watched the race in Aabenraa, which is pretty close to my town. I stood on a central square in town and watched the 5 and 10 km runners pass by. For my images I concentrated on the facial expressions of the runners, and with a tele isolated them from the others.
