Kite Festivals – Rømø and Fanø

The west coast of Denmark is a popular place to fly kites, as it is very windy here. On the islands of Rømø and Fanø, there are real festivals every year where the beach is reserved for kite flying. It is a magnificent sight to see the many kites against the sky.
